Updating via Drive:
Prime Hardware with version 1.2.0 or newer can now be upgraded by adding the firmware directly to a USB stick. This is an easy and convenient way to make upgrade players without the direct use of a computer. To update via drive:
- Download the standalone firmware from the respective Denon DJ product page on DenonDJ.com
- Unzip this and then copy the file to a compatible USB drive or SD card.
- Insert the drive into the player and, open utilities and then press restart.
- The player will then prompt that it has found a new firmware version. Confirm to restart.
- After update is finished, the player will restart again into normal mode.
New Features:
- Performance Features
- Horizontal view configuration added.
- This view gives 4 deck overviews and 2 horizontal scrolling waveforms (one for each focused deck).
- This view can be accessed by pressing Shift + View.
- Added a status bar to the top of the screen. This shows the status of quantize/continuous modes as well as the recording state.
- The swipe up menu (previously located between the search and library buttons) has been relocated to the top of the screen and is now a swipe down menu. Recording can now be accessed from this menu.
- Nudge sensitivity is now adjustable in the Utility menu.
- BPM Analysis on player will now reference ID3/Metatag data when running the analysis for improved accuracy.
- Horizontal view configuration added.
Bug Fixes and Improvements:
- Fixed an issue where importing a Rekordbox track with 0 BPM would cause the unit to restart.
- Fixed an issue where in rare circumstances, the play button would cease to work.
- Additional bug fixes and improvements.
