2-travelers (Mike Wright & Alvaro Jimenez) a dj/production team which have provided great music for some of our state of the art products. They bring excitement, energy and feel to their production as well as an uncanny and unlimited mixing ability on their dj sets. You can listen to a sample of their production by logging into the DN-HC4500 microsite.

To truly appreciate their talent you must visit their site and listen to other creations and mixes. They are truly the team to look out for in 2008. Next on their agenda is to work on various remix projects and to find a residency at a club so they can continue creating their magic.

Alvaro Jimenez developed and made his name as a DJ (Mr. X) in his hometown of Elizabeth NJ. Packing various local venues since the early 80's, he has been able to develop a diverse taste in music and a unique mixing ability. Through the years and working with various Promoters and friends he has been blessed with the opportunity of playing with great talents such as Nick Jones, Kim Lightfoot, Basil and Slam Mode. His view on mixing and producing is to use a song to "reach out" whether it will be a vocal or a track each song has an unexplained melody that touches your heart & soul. This melody makes you laugh, cry, sing, dance, and enjoy, it's about creating a song/track that makes you feel, that moves you physically and emotionally allowing you to remember a place, time, and create a lasting memory. Currently working on various projects with Wayne Gardiner the team plans to release many deep/moody/jazzy recordings. His first production was The Dream Generation (on Maxi Records) and other releases under Sinister Concepts for Enuma Recordings.

Mike Wright was born and raised in New Jersey, growing up at the Jersey Shore in a time when teen clubs were a safe way to escape getting into mischief, Mike Wright began his appreciation of music early. A lot of the credit he gives to his parents for their diverse taste in music which included Jazz, Blues, Disco, Country, Rock and R&B). Michael grew up in a house that always listened to music of some form. It would be between the ages of 15 and 19 that he would begin going to any club he could get into that played that played Freestyle or House music. Clubs like Zanzabar, The Tunnel, Red Zone, Sound Factory, Sound Factory Bar, Mars, 1018 and Studio 54 became regular places where he would go with his older sister just to get in and hear different kinds of music.

* Michael's DJ'ing career started in 1989 one night while at college in Richmond, VA with a friend Zane Gibbs who was DJ'ing at the Omni Hotel. Most of the time Mike would sit on the side and watch but every once in a while would get to play even just for one or two mixes.

* It wouldn't be unitl 1997 that Mike would get his break to DJ in NYC from Adam Scott who had a residency at Legends in NYC. To this day Mike still says that was the best he has ever played and the most fun he has ever had at a club.

* Now Mike is moving into the world of producing so that he can take all of his musical taste and experience and apply it to the genre that he loves the most House Music.
